Through the Eyes of a Tiger Photo Contest
The Year of the Tiger has passed and in many ways it was a great year for the Seattle Chinatown-International District with public events coming back after a two-year absence. In other ways, it’s still hurting from the effects of the pandemic.
It needs some LOVE!
Let’s give it some love by sharing your photos of favorite places,
people and moments that show what you love about the CID.
Contest runs from February 15 to April 1, 2023
The rules are simple.

Send us your photos of the CID taken any time during the Year of the Tiger through April 1, 2023.

Attach them to an e-mail with Your Name, Contact Phone (optional) and Caption(s).

We’re having a free exhibition during the four weekends this May at the Nisei Veterans Committee Hall,
1212 S. King St., Seattle. Details to be announced.
10 Contest Winners will have their photos displayed at our show!
We’re having them made into 11 x 14 Chromaluxe prints
and they’ll be given to you at the closing reception.
So, hurry and get your photos in before the April 1st deadline!

已告别的虎年在许多方面对西雅图华人/国际区来说是美好的一年。两年停止的许多公众活动又得举办了。但在另一些方面西雅图华人/国际区还遭受疫情的负面影响。
华人/国际区需要我们的爱!
爱惜它。分享您最喜欢的而且显示您爱它什么地方的人物, 景象或美好时刻的照片。
大赛从2023年2月15日起至4月1日止。
大赛规则简单。

从虎年开始到2023年4月1日截止期间拍摄的华人/国际区照片发送给我们。

以电子邮件附件形式发 送照片。 注明姓名，电话（选填），照片说明。
5月份每周末在Nisei Veterans Committee Hall (二代日裔老兵纪念礼堂)，
1212 S. King St., Seattle, 举办免费摄影展。详情即将公布。
十个获奖者的照片将在摄影展展示。
获奖者将印刷在Chromaluxe 铝板上生产11 X 14的照片印刷品。在闭幕典礼赠送一张。
请4月1日截止日期之前尽早发送照片。

Chào mừng tất cả quý bạn thí sinh triển lãm ảnh năm 2023
Đại dịch Covid 19 đã đem lại khu phố Tầu-Quốc Tế của thành phố Seattle nhiều cố biến trong những năm gần đây, mà hiện nay vẫn lưu động. Tuy trong hoàn cảnh khăn khó, nhưng toàn thể các nhà kinh doanh và nhân dân khu vực không những đã vượt qua trải nghiệm trong bối cảnh mà đã đem lại cho khu vực không ít biến chuyển tốt với sự ủng hộ tích cực của toàn thể cộng đồng.
Để chúng ta cùng nhau tiếp viện xây dựng tinh thần, ban tổ chức hân hạnh kính mời sự đóng góp của các bạn qua cuộc thi nhiếp ảnh phô trương những nhịp sống sâu sắc thường ngày của khu vực phố.
Trong bối cảnh này, khu phố vẫn còn tiếp tục bị đại dịch ảnh hưởng. Trong cuộc thi nhiếp ảnh ban tổ chức mong các bạn sẽ đóng góp qua những mẫu hình lưu niệm sự kiện sinh hoạt và khoảnh khắc yêu chuộng của khu Phố Tầu-Quốc-Tế.
Cuộc thi sẽ bắt đầu từ ngày 15, tháng 2, đến ngày 1, tháng 4, năm 2023
Các luật lệ rất đơn giản:

Gửi những hình ảnh về khu phố Quốc Tế của quý vị được chụp trong Năm Nhâm Dần đến ngày 1 tháng 4 năm 2023.

Đính kèm những bức ảnh vào điện thư với tên của quý vị, số điện thoại (Không bắt buộc) các chú thích.

Chúng tôi sẽ tổ chức buổi triển lãm miễn phí trong bốn ngày cuối tuần vào tháng 5, tại hội trường Nisei Veterans Committee Hall: 1212 S. King Street, Seattle. Thông tin chi tiết sẽ được thông báo sau.
10 tác phẩm tiêu biểu sẽ được lựa chọn để triển lãm!
